Have you eaten a piece lately???
Got your attention???
Got your attention???
Great, I know everybody likes food (BIG smile)….
but, I am not here to share a story about food, humble pie or any type of pie. ;o)
I am here to introduce to you Humble Heart Jewelry, a fellow “jewelry artist” that has become dear to me in a very short time. You may find her at local craft fairs and on Facebook. We actually met just over a year ago at a local craft event, which few ideas and conversation was shared at that time. We had little to no contact until this past September when we both attended a different local craft event. It was at this craft event that we had a lot more time to get to know one another a little more. Surprisingly, we share "a lot" of the same thoughts and feelings about business, personal and faith. Although I now feel that I have known her for years, she did succeed in surprising me recently at a craft event with this gift…

“Walk by Faith”
She stated to me…
she seen it, thought of me and had to get it. ;o)
I was reluctant to accept it without reciprocation but, this gift could not have come at a better time. It reminded me that there are still instances today where “gifts” are given with absolutely “NOTHING” expected in return AND it is “OK” to accept those “gifts” and know that you are “NOT” expect to “give” in return. This lady is one special lady. In the past, she has been in the jewelry business with a partner; she recently ventured out on her own and changed her business name to a name that could not be better suited for her…“Humble Heart” Jewelry. It is an honor to be the one to share her with you.
If she has been placed in my life for nothing more than to remind me that there are other “humble” people still in this world…I am forever grateful.
Proverbs 16:3Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Beautiful story, and a beautiful gift. Isn't it amazing how we continue to connect with certain people throughout the course of our lives-people that will become friends for life.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terry. It is certainly amazing how He places people in our lives when we least expect it and we may not even understand exactly why until later if even then.

I put a whole lot of thought and heart into my comment last night...when I clicked 'publish' it just went away!!!! UGH!!! Soooo frustrating!!!
ReplyDeleteI will try this again!
IT WORKED!!! You were right Vee, I had to sign-up, or in, or join, promise my first-born, etc. lol
ReplyDeleteI wanted to take a minute to let you all know just how special this beautiful, little, spunky lady is to me.
The first time I met Vee, I will never forget walking up to her booth. I was blown away and in awe of her jewelry! I remember thinking, 'now THIS is an artist'! I LOVE her jewelry, and never hesitate to share her work with others.
Vee gifted me the very first time we met...she extended her hand in friendship and shared her Faith. On down the road when we met up again, I was at a low point and had lost sight of my goals and conviction. Vee restored those things which were so important to me and I got excited again about doing what I felt I was led to do.
I don't believe I just stumbled across that shoe...especially a 'red' shoe that just happened to say "Walk by Faith"! It had Vee's name written all over it!!! :D
God, in all His infinite wisdom, had a plan and knew exactly who the players were going to be. He knew who to call to help someone in need. Once the task was done, He gave us both a gift Vee...a red shoe. We will always be reminded of how much God loves us and to what lengths He will go to, to help us stay on the right path and how to "Walk by Faith" every time you see or I think of that shoe.
Thank you, Vee for sharing so much!!!!
Dianne
LOL, Dianne (your first sentence).
ReplyDeleteI apologize, as I some how over looked the e-mail alert that you had responded here...while cleaning out my e-mail from 2011 I came across it. I really appreciate your words here and in our lives. You have been a blessing to me as well and I appreciate your friendship but, I firmly believe He was at work. Sometimes in life when we meet certain people we never know what they may be facing or going through at that time. I always try to stay upbeat and excited as I possibly can about life hoping to help others even when I may not be at "my" BEST. Most are very accepting...others not so much but, I am ok with that and I know that they still need prayer. I understand that not everyone is going to like my personality just as not everyone is going to like my style of jewelry that I craft. I want the BEST for everyone but, sometimes prayer that their "needs" are meet is the BEST thing for them as they need to figure things out for themselves.
I appreciate you, Dianne, your friendship, your comments and your compliments. I hope 2012 bring an abundance of prosperity to you, your family and your business. {{{HUGS}}}
