It’s on! ;o)
We didn't make 2012 Resolutions but, we did Challenge each other for 2012 and it’s actually been underway since the clock struck , January 1, 2011 !
I love nothing more than a good challenge from my husband.
What wife wouldn’t? (Big grin)

All in FUN, we want to prove them wrong, right??? (Big grin)
For those that know my husband and I, know we are ALWAYS pulling pranks on each other. For instance, I think the BEST one I pulled on him was 2 weeks before his 40th birthday. Our son had recently turned 5 that year.
After our son was born, my doctor shared with us that I wouldn’t be able to carry another child to term. Both, my husband and I, were “ok” with this news. Simply because I was BLESSED with a child that I never thought I’d ever have in the first place and our son is my husband’s second child (his girl and boy was now complete). At this time, he also stressed that he felt he was “getting too old” to have anymore children. Hum, I quickly thought that I should file that comment up there in the old brain file box (big grin).

It turns out that it paid off…wonderfully! A few weeks prior to his 40th birthday party, I took my son’s pregnancy test result with me to my doctor visit only to return with it and announce to my husband that I was INDEED pregnant! I hooked him “line and sinker” for TWO WHOLE weeks prior to his 40th birthday party! The only people that knew of my deception were one of his friends from work who had everyone they worked with playing along with the prank (picking and teasing him) and my mom! So, “all” of his family and the rest of mine thought that I was pregnant! I wrote a poem to read toward the end of the party that the very last sentence stated, “Happy Birthday, we are not pregnant”. Boy, you should have seen the look on his face especially, when he found out everyone involved with the prank and those who weren’t! I don’t think I could have pulled it off if it hadn’t been for the people he worked with. I, normally, am not a competitive person. However, when my husband is involved we have SUCH fun challenging each other and pranks!
Mom’s out there know the day to day jobs that are required of us for our “many titles”, Mom/housewife/ well, I could go on and on but, I think you get the picture, right?! I am talking to the Mom’s that “home school” and the Mom’s that work “full-time jobs” that DO NOT hire a “maid/or maid service” to come in, etc. to help. I am talking to these mom’s that do EVERYTHING…EVERYDAY with no sick time, no paid vacations, no time off what-so-ever…they are there 24/7 PLUS literally. We put ourselves and our needs before EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING. Ok, so now you know who you are…I am this Mom. Yes, when I am working I occasionally make messes like this…"Out of the Box" AND I “leave” it until I can get back to it…who knows exactly when that will be but, I “eventually” do! ;o) A pet peeve of my husbands and one of the challenges he has set before me is to make a pair of earrings a day for the year or until this box is empty. He didn’t exactly “state” that I had to make earrings from the box until it is empty which I have so far but, shhh…I shared some beads and trinkets from the box last night with a friend that I started teaching how to make jewelry! He’ll be sure to be very specific next time. (BIG grin) With the exception of last week (husband returned home with food poisoning…much better now), I have posted pictures each Monday of the earrings that I have made from that box on our NEW Facebook Fan Page here: Jewelry By Vee “Out of the Box”.

I have several pet peeves and one that I share with you is…yes, the tissue paper roll! I know, I know as petty as that may seem I have my reason! ;o) So, in our challenge this was one of the items on his list to accomplish this year and by golly he did it…with his little humor but, he did it!!! (BIG grin)
The roll is turned to flow over and out!!! Let see if he continues for the year…that will be the actual accomplishment. (BIG grin)
